  • My grandpa says cinnamon, you can mix it with water. But it's kind of nasty. Also just a cold glass of water is good, especcially on hot days because you might just be dehydrated.
  • For me, headaches are caused by not getting enough sleep, so I take a nap. For headaches caused by stress, a restful break might help, for headaches caused by heat, cooling down should help. Once you have identified what causes your headache, you will have a better chance of treating it. (Try ice cream)

It works great on migraines and other types. And here is a video of what it looks like. There are also some points on the body that are good for getting rid of headaches or reducing their pain that you could learn from a good Shiatsu therapist or massage therapist.
  • Place a wet heated compress on the back of your neck ( be careful not to have it too hot) and a cold compress on the area of the head that hurts. The cold compress can be an ice pack or frozen vegetables. This works well on most headaches.
  • Most headaches are caused by dehydration, drink a lot of water.
  • Tiger Balm.Its the best,just don't get it in your eyes.
  • If you take a hammer and smash your big toe, you'll be replacing a smaller pain for a larger one and you'll not concentrate on your headache anymore, but the pain in your toe instead. So that's one way to go about it, but you probably want to try these other people's methods first. =)

  • Chamomile, Lavender and Peppermint essential oils are supposed to calm, soothe and relieve pain and tension. You can just inhale them or rub on your temples or neck.
