running/rocking-out to my ipod/writing it down

i go horseriding, being around them calms me down straight away as theyre soothing animals and the excercise gives you endorphins. obviously this only applies if you can ride and have access to horses. i think being around animals in general helps though

Breathe. I know that it sounds kinda lame. But when anger really starts to build up on you, take a really deep breath. Other than that... Music. Walking. Running. Shopping? LOL. Anything you find calming.. ~+~

This is what I do: Music...like metal and hardcore. Violent video games. Skateboarding. Playing guitar. Singing/screaming. Writing songs. Going to shows. Btw I just realized that those are all my hobbies. LL! I wonder what that says about me.

Immediately remove yourself from the source of it..until the anger subsides you are not going to be thinking clearly..you need to think with great clarity in order to learn why you got so angry. Walking away, taking a walk, going into a quiet room and shutting the door for awhile..whatever works. Uncontrolled anger is a very dangerous thing..it will eat you up inside and it could cause harm/damage to others. Rage management classes exist, if that is something you feel would be useful..don't know the degree of your anger or how often it occurs or what triggers it, but help is available to you! Good luck! :)

theres a country park near me where i used to go with my grandad when i was younger, i take my dogs for walks there and clear my head. i think it works because when i go there i have all my happy memories and noone can bother me. its the one place i can go to get away from it all :0) the other thing i do is write poems, i was only looking through them the other day and i cant believe how good i feel now compared to a few months ago.

Journaling and then either ripping up or burning the paper. Cleaning Changing how I think about the situation. Talking to someone.

Sometimes a good book is the only way for me to calm down and on the rare occasions that doesn't work I suggest a nap (perferably with a friend).
