I have used Paypal for quite a while...mostly on Ebay. But I've also used it on a few other sites. Basically, Paypal pays the seller, and you are paying Paypal. That way, the sellers never have your credit card info. I've never had any problem using it...

Paypal is great because you can also use your bank account without any card and it is backed if you have a problem with a private transaction. Still do your homework on who you buy from though, because alot of times, if your money has already been transferred, it cannot be retreaved if it is a private transaction. Many stores are using it and it makes it so easy!!! Also DO ever go to paypal through your email account by clicking a link, they are alot of times fake so its NOT Paypal which is hurting you, but another trying to act like Paypal. Instead, actually put the address into your address bar YOURSELF to prevent being scammed from people trying to portray a site to be Paypal.

if I buy something out of ebay and pay with paypal if I do not receive the item paypal refunds me the money?
