Nope .... I have always meant what I've said :-) !
-
Yea, my ex, but I was like 14 the when I told him that
-
No, I always mean it when I say it. What comes later (sometimes) is the realization that my feelings for them have changed because of changes in the relationship or their personality.
-
nope...i'm VERY careful with that word, and only say it when I honestly mean it
-
I have told someone I loved them and later realized that maybe I didn't really know what it meant. I'm still not sure I really know, but I think I'm learning.
-
Never. If I say it, I mean it at the time. I don't have to love someone forever to love them at all :)
-
Unfortunately I have. And I realized moments after I said it. It was probably just a desire to be in love with someone, but it was wrong to jump the gun at someone else's expense and I never intend to make the same mistake again. The good news is that we're still friends.

Was it before or after sex. If after than tower we have a problem.

yes

Yeah, my first girlfriend. Bleh, big mistake that was.

i kept using the i love you sign in american sign language with a deaf fellow employee. i meant that we were friends. but she took it for face value. later i had to face the facts and she wasnt too happy with my response. i felt embarrassed for leading someone in the wrong direction.

I have experienced the opposite. As in, I've told someone I loved him and didn't realize just how much I meant it until later.
-
My ex told me let it slip in a conversation that he loved me...very Chandler-esque if you ever watch Friends. I felt pressured to say it back to him even though I didn't mean it at the time. I eventually grew to love him, but there were so many times that I said it and didn't mean it.
