He probably is similar. And it isn't just Yahweh and Anu. From a historical perspective, you can see just how extensively "modern religions" have borrowed from "ancient myths". . Jesus alone is strikingly similar to other Greek, Roman, and Egyptian deities who were also born of a virgin, or called "king of kings" and "alpha and omega", or crucified, or who wandered through deserts, or who walked on water and healed the sick. . Then you see Jesus, Moses, and Muhammad - who have all borrowed aspects such as monotheism from Zarathustra. And the common "wiseman" elements found in all of them. . There are also the laughably unrealistic plagues and floods which have seemingly hit every single ancient nation at different time periods, but for similar reasons. As well as the destruction of entire cities like Atlantis / Sodom and Gomorrah; and the fact that the god almost always lives in a kingdom in the sky, while the demon almost always lives in the fiery pit underneath.

No Yahweh is a code name for the Jews. He is not a God, but the ruling Jews see themselves as God.
