How can you clean the key pads on a flute? I've tried pad cleaning paper but it doesn't seem to help much; the keys are still pretty sticky. Any other methods?

this might sound really stupid but i used to stick dollar bills underneath them and press a few times. my keys didn't stick after that. no clue why but my step sister told me and it worked for me. give it a try i guess?

What was already stated, money :) and if that doesnt work maybe you need new pads, which isnt that expensive.

well... you could just go to a shop and see what's wrong. If you don't want to do that, and you want to try recommendations on this site, I think you should be careful with the methods that you try.

my band teacher always would get a wet paper towel and then stick it in there and then get it out with a toothpick or somthing
