i dont think you could MAKE one, but i've seen people take the ones that show one or two lines, give them to friends, and tell them the opposite of what the directions say, like if 2 lines means your not pregnant, tell them that it DOES mean they're pregnant! its mean but still funny lol

ACTUALLY YES YOU CAN. I HAVE HAD IT HAPPEN BEFORE. IF YOU HAVE A CYST ON YOUR OVAARY IT CAN HAPPEN OR IF YOU ARE TAKING HCG DRUGS. IT IS VERY RARE BUT IT CAN HAPPEN.

Well I am not sure if there are False positives. But I have a friend who told me she was pregnant and she had already told her parents and she got yelled at and everything.I asked her a 1 week later how it was going and she said that she went to the doctor with her mother to get an ultrsound or to check her pregnancy. The doctor told her she was not pregnant but that her hormones were going crazy and releasing a hormone that tells the HPT that she is pregnant but supposely she was not pregnant in the end. But I have no Idea. If it is true

ok well i am currently going through this problem i took hpt and blood tests and even had an ultra sound and they all said i was pregnant well turns out when i went to the hospital again today i never was pregnant..didnt have a miscarriage or an abortion so yes you can get a false positive. and i did find out i have a cyst
