We used to take "Mystery Trips." We'd flip a coin to decide which way to turn until we reached a destination that looked interesting. What are some of the interesting ways you have decided where to spend a vacation?

Well, back in my collage days here in NC, one Saturday night three of us were sitting around the dorm bored, nothing was happening around campus. One of my other friends, also bored and drunk to boot staggers in and says "Let's go to Dallas!" We reply "Dallas NC?" (a couple or three hours away) "No, Dallas Texas!" "Why?" "Because I've never been there." "Okay." So when we get to Dallas 17 hours later; I was having so much fun, I decided to call my room mate and tell him where I was: "Guess what I'm doing?" "Dunno, I haven't seen you this weekend, where are you?" "Dallas!" "Dallas NC?" "No, Dallas Texas!" "Why?" "Because I've never been here." ;)

Sounds like fun. But, I'm a planner. If I'm going somewhere, I want to really think it through.
