  • We had a little potty, but our son liked to act like a big boy so we bought a potty seat. They are so little that it can scare them since they can easily fall in. Make sure she isn't scared of it. My son is 2 1/2 and is using the big potty full time. We keep a step stool next to it, and he knows how to put the potty seat on himself. Half the time now though he just holds on to something and goes, he has learned how to balance himself. Good luck and congrats on your big girl!;)
  • I think that you should let her decide. She will know, better than anyone when she is no longer intimidated by it's size. Keep the potty available and compliment her when she uses the "big girl's potty" (e.g. - "That's my big girl"). Kids are proud of being older. When you see that she doesn't use the potty any longer or she tells you "That's for babies" .......
