On Windows XP, how do you change your cursor to the banana, or barber pole, or whatever cursor you want in C:/WINDOWS/Cursors?

I can't check the exact path just now, but go into Control Panel, find the Mouse icon, click that, then follow the menus at the top. Cursors should be there.

Go to the control panel, select "mouse", select the "pointers" tab, and choose the scheme you want from the drop-down menu.

if you want something beside what XP offers go to this site for some FREE software on cursor's www.pcworld.com when Page opens look at top and click on downloads, when that page loads, scroll down and in the middle on left you will see groups of subjects for downloads, click on cursor and page opens and you will see several FREE ones. (some are trial,demo,shareware also) so look and make sure you pick the FREE ones. click on the title and follow instructions.
