  • I don't think, from what I've read, that Satanism has had any direct influence on Scientology. This doesn't mean that it didn't influence L. Ron Hubbard indirectly. I think the slams on Christianity in higher levels might be part of that and the focus on the self instead of a higher power has some similarities. However, while I've done my research on Scientology, I'm less familiar with the principles, practices and beliefs of Satanism.
  • yeah, sure...why not. IT's less of a stretch than Bush being to blame for gas prices and that seems pretty popular. Hell...let's blame violets for the next flood...they need water, right? Perhaps the tse-tse fly caused cancer! Greek mythology influenced the Sam Adams Boston Lager bottlecap emblem, too. Oh! Almost forgot!! El Nino created bluetooth! Wow...can't believe I almost forgot to tie that one in.
