Traveler gun law for Oklahoma and Missouri--can I travel across the state with a loaded hand gun in my vehicle?

If you are a cocealed carry holder from ANY state, you may carry your concealed loaded firearm in Oklahoma.

I'd suggest you call your state police post and share your travel plans and ask this question. You can also call the state police in each of the other states you wish to travel through and ask them what the law is in that state. I wouldn't take a chance if I were you.

If you want the protection of a firearm in your vehicle when traveling you are advised to do so (unless you are a felon) and just keep your mouth shut. A firearm is a last resort tool and if you need to use it you need to use it and then you must justify doing so and take what comes. If it saves you from harm then that is the point. You will get nothing but a runaround when you ask officials for approval. PS don't carry it in the glovebox with your registration or other vehicle papers and expect no one to see the pistol when you need your registration.. be innovative..use your head..be cool or leave the thing at home. Ex LAPD
