What the frick are you babbling about? I was raised christian (no longer a christian) and have many friends that are christian, and I have never heard the phrase "the devil did it" nor in relation to evolution.

I don't believe I have ever said this, nor heard anyone else around me say it. I guess it could be taken as the devil planted the idea in these ppls heads. I don't really know since I have never heard it or discussed it. I have learned though that sometimes when you ask these questions it may be a good idea to say "most" or "some" though so you don't get slaughtered for categorizing, I learned that the hard way.;)

Not all christians. But, who cares? While the facts and understanding of evolution keeps growing, dogmatics are condemned to circular reasoning and... wait for the last scientific development to build their new excuses and ad hoc explanations.
