Why is there so much emphasis on pleasing men? I noticed the post asking: what makes a man lose interest in a woman?' and it made me ask the question - why should it matter? Are men gods?

Everyone likes to be pleased. Perhaps men are just more vocal about it.... That question is perfectly valid. For any relationship to thrive, both people need to be interested in each other. If the woman is still interested in the man, she might be puzzled why he is losing interest in her. Men aren't gods. But it should matter what makes men lose interest in women, just as it matters what makes women lose interest in men.

I don't know, but questions like that sure do make me feel better, because I thought I was lost when it came to women. It's good to know that women are just as lost if not more lost then I am. =P

I think those questions just are popping out at you. Most of mine are asking how to please women. The opposite gender is always trying to figure out how to please the one they care about. - Yes men would be gods because women are goddess.

No ......... no god complex here. To answer the original question..There could be things the woman is doing and she doesn't realize it......I once met a great woman until......I sensed a certain desperation in having to move the relationship to a serious one RIGHT AWAY!!!!!!!! This all started when she did'nt get the response she wanted when the I LOVE YOU came out. It was still early in the relationship and I just wasn't ready to go there...Of course she flipped out and it was the beginning of the end.

if you look at nature, the male is always dressed the most extravagantly, whether it be feathers, colors, or the noises they make. The males are usually bigger than the females, size matters in nature. if you want a simple answer, it's nature.

its all to do with time,it is very difficult to keep it all alive,research shows us that the 1st year of a relationship is full of love & romance & then the bills start rolling in along with financial pressures,but to carry on we have to re-invent ourselves again to keep love alive:)

I like to think it's human nature to want to please someone, whether they are your parents, spouse, child, friend, etc. When you put time and effort into any relationship, you want to keep it strong because it feels good to have that person in your life. If my husband were to leave, I would wonder what it is about me that he no longer enjoyed (after all, he loved me enough to marry and have a child). It's about self improvement as well....if an ex said I was just too negative all the time, I'd try to improve myself for me. So NO...MEN ARE NOT GODS!!!!

Men lose interest,because they think with their penis's..Women also loss interest..It only matter's if it's happening to you,and you really cared for that person you might want to know..and no men are not gods in my eyes. It's possible to live without one!
