I'm getting married in a few weeks (31st May). Does anyone have any tips for my groom speech?

Keep it short, but make sure you thank all sets of parents and be sure to toast your bride.

Make the speech BEFORE you have anything to drink...believe me it's good advice.

I agree with miteb; the only thing I would add is a tasteful joke, a toast to longevity and don't allow your knees to lock during the vows or the speech. My best man told me that keeping the knees loose will make passing out, as many unsuspecting grooms do, less likely. My heartfelt congratulations to you slothmister!!! :D May your love for one another grow stronger with each passing moment.
