He was confident, aggressive, VERY romantic, but also very unemotional. By unemotional I mean that he was very reserved with talking about his feelings and he was very patient and calm. He never spoke of his emotions but his body language and eyes communicated the emotion if that makes sense. I had a male friend that was also from Iran but spent most of his life in the US and he had the same qualities except he spoke more about his feelings.
