I'm almost 17 year-old non mormon dating an 18 year-old mormon boy, he questions his religion and he says that i'm not the reason. i'm not sure what i'm supposed to do.

You don't need to do anything. It's a decision your boyfriend needs to make. You don't need to feel guilty even if he decides to change to another religion.

I agree with Babycakes. It’s a shame that he feels that way about the Church, but I really can’t imagine you could help him that much. The only way he can know if it’s true or not is the same way anybody knows it’s true or not: asking Heavenly Father in prayer. In other words, even if you could somehow convince him that the Church is true (at which point you’d obviously want to become a member, too), he’d be living on borrowed light and it wouldn’t do him any good, anyway. My suggestion is that you just keep loving him and supporting him in his decisions. If it’s important to you to know if the Church is true, meet with the missionaries and invite him to sit in, so he can figure it out for himself. If not, just love him anyway and support him in his decision. Blessings!
