If you can prove to the Judge that you are sincerely sorry for what you did then it might be expunged (I think that's the right term).

WELL, first you should have of gone to the store's manager and apologized alot for your stupid deed the NEXT DAY!!So, maybe they wouldn't want to prosecute you, but I guess you didn't SO Evinedently it wasn't important to you until you were summoned to court.

I did they same when I was 16. Judge made me write an apology to the stare manager. But, I was underage, so it's not on my record. Most likely, because it was food, they'll let you off easy. The judge can't really tell you not to eat. Just explain your situation, feel sorry about it, and maybe they'll be nice.

Man I feel you. I tried to steele a 5 doller bottle of robotussin than got arrested, spent six days in jail, got put on probation for nine months, and plus had to pay more than 800 dollers in fines!! And I am only 19!! Shit sucks bro! I mean what the fuck it was five dollers!!!! Yeah your in adult court man there not really gonna take shit from you. But the answer to your question is yes it will be on your record, but its only a misdimeaner so its not gonna prevent you from doing anything.

You deserve to have a record. If you get acquitted, it wont go on your record. Also, if your state has a first offenders act, it may not stay on your record very long. But if you do the crime, you should be prepared to do the time.
