  • highway 41 between Macon, GA and Forsyth, GA we used to drive it at 100 mph with the headlights off at night It's called nightflying - we knew the road so well, we'd drive it without headlights - freakin' awesome!!!
  • Catalina Hwy outside Tucson, Ariz. Rolled on the hairpin turn going down a long time ago.
  • State Highway 2, in Idaho, driving west toward Spokane,Wa. It wouldn't have been that dangerous, but as I topped the hill and looked down at this very steep road, I could see that it was covered with about one inch of ice. No guard rail, not wide enough for a car to get passed my "big" truck and no way to turn around, I figured my time had come.
  • A country road in South Western NY state. It was rather perilous.
  • In Northern Ontario in the middle of winter there are roads I don`t even want to think about what I have driven on.
  • The road up to an old ghost town and mine called Cerro Gordo at about 8,000' elevation. it was the mine that actually is responsible fro the development of Los Angeles and supplying the money to get that town booming. It's incredibly steep up and down and they warn you to watch burning up your brakes coming down. We actually had to stop part way down and we camped for the night as the brakes were so hot. It's a very long hard drive almost straight up. Awesome scenery. the road is about 7 1/2 miles long and rises over 5,000'.
  • The Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia Canada. The scenery is awesome, but the road twists and turns, and it is soooo close to the edge. When you fear heights like myself, it's just downright frightening!
