Why should people have to guard their things in their personal home against thieves? Why can't people just respect other people's property?

It is called egoism, the belief that "I" am the most important person in the universe, and, if you have something I want, I will get it any way I can. Or if I want to make money and I have nothing to sell, I will take your things to sell.

There have always been thieves, hon. But, it has increased greatly today because respect for other people has gone down the tubes. If you have no respect for yourself or others, you have no respect for what belongs to others. Few think of how hard someone else worked for what they have, or care. If they want it, they will try to take it. It seems easier to them than working for what they want themselves. I have a greeting for those who would take what is mine. "Hello, dog-breath! I don't call 911...I call 9 mm. magnum,..Would you like to meet him? He is right here...(lol!)
