Well, I'm guessing you want an evolutionary explenation..right? Because a creationist would probably say around, 10,000-15,000 years. where as an evolutionist would probably say something like, 1 million years or so. Obviously, I'm not giving very accurate information, but that's all you can really do, is speculate, and guess the most likley age, based on the evidence. But expect people to be disagreeing on the date.
