    These are the keys often used for movement within a game. W moves up, A moves left, D moves right, and S moves down.

    I go by WADS, but to me it means the alternate configuration for movement, as opposed to the simple arrow keys, which are often sub-optimal due to their lack of proximity to other keys, thus making hotkeys less useful, as you must move your fingers farther. With your hand already in the letter/number area, you often only need to reach out a finger and you're there.
