  • Correct, however, I think there is a difference between not having to go to school, and not having A school to go to. Third world countries are very seldom able to offer children or young adults any type of formal education, which is shockingly sad. In many of these countries, education is one of the only ways to a better life - for people not to even have that option available to them is heart breaking.
  • I would assume that there are still some. It is particularly common for females to be excluded from schools, even where there are schools. In many countries, there may be schools, and laws may exist saying that all children should be educated, but the laws may be unenforceable, because 1) many children are not registered 2)many parents are poor and cannot afford the materials and so do not send them 3) teachers are so overburdened, they do not follow up on missing children 4)many groups of poor move around and so children are untraceable.
  • In many poor countries, only rich people can send their children to school.
