I see a psychiatrist who specializes in Brain Injury. Before I got in to see him, I was reccomended to see the neuropsychologist who works with in the group. The other psychiatrist works with kids and specializes in adlescents. When I saw her, the neuro psycholgist. She took my history, and then wasted no time ordering an enormous battery of testing approx six hours worth. About two weeks later, I went to an appt. with her and recieved the results which will now be sent to my shrink

i am not a dr, but ive had alot of mentalhealth issues and have seen many drs. in this field, i beleive psychologists explore the behaviors associated with trauma in childhood, and believe in behavioraland cognitive therapy, or talk therapy. neuro psychologists if i maybe undertand correctly they are linked to the behaviors and functions of the brain which cause disturbance in behaviors. i maty be wrong but i think this is a pretty close assumption. hope it maybe it helps in someway. i am only respondind with my own experiences with these drs. good luck.
