I think you should chain your daughter up in the basement until she is 18. You don't want this drunkard to violate and impregnate your little girl, do you?
-
Yes, you are right to parent her well until she is 18 and out of high school. After that you can still parent her well by providing her guidance when she asks for it.

You are right about this. When I was 15 I drank and I had a boyfriend whose parents wanted us to break up cause we both got suspended for it. Well for me it was a stupid phase that a lot of teens go through. But the thing is you dont know if this guy is having a phase or not. Just dont let this guy hang out with your daughter without you or outside of your home. Thats what id do and see if the phase ceases. maybe have a heart to heart conversation about it.

I'm 15 and I say yes, you are completely right. I would hope my mother would lock me in a dark closet before letting me date someone like that.

Absolutely 100% right. She is only 15. You should be able to tell her that you don't want her seeing someone because of what he does, if he didn't drink I am sure it wouldn't be a problem but he does. Tell her the consequences of being in a relationship with someone like this, and if he continues to drink it only gets worse with age and time. More parents these days should put there foot down when it comes to what the teenagers of America are doing.

you are right about her not seeing him just put your foot down. and keep tabs on her at all times,

Teenage years are the age of experimenting. It should be okay for them to be together as long as 1) he doesnt abuse her or 2) he makes her do anything doesnt want to do (icluding while he is intoxicated). She will soon dump him so dont fret too much.
