Well, no two people read tarot cards the same way. Everyone has their own method so-to-speak. Most methods are similar and there are many layouts to choose from. This isn't a simple question to answer because there is a lot involved in reading tarot cards. However, I did find a resource that actually offers an online course in Tarot reading free of charge and that might be more useful than a long, complicated answer.
