    To someone lonely it can be I suppose. Usually not though, I don't think. Nothing very personal about calling a dog Spot.

    Yes it is, thats why ppl go to great lengths to choose a name, ive just 'aquired' a stray black cat (seemingly approved of, by my tabby cat hehe) and i cant think of a good name for it yet!
