  • I don't have any children yet, but when I do, and if he/she doesn't carry on or acquire my passion (Music, Percussion, Drums) I will be dissapointed, yes. I will most likely keep it to myself, though. I don't think I could tell my child that. I will do my best to influence him/her towards my interest while they are young, though! I don't think there's anything wrong with that
  • well I feel that way about my parents. not disapointed but wish they could play video games with me :(
  • One daughter does share the same talent as myself. The oldest has her own unique talents and I'm not disappointed at all. I'm very proud of both.
  • no as my girls do,my son however is accademic which im not, and it comes in handy as he helps me when it comes to maths.could never be disappointed by my kids anyway, i love them too much.
  • I don't have and don't really want kids, but I'd want them to be who they are, not carbon copies of me. If they landed up having the same talent as me, and were using and enjoying it, i'd be happy for them, the same as i would if they had and used and enjoyed a different talent. It's more important for them not to be disappointed with the talents they have.
