I haven't been sued for money. I've been taken to court a few times when my ex-wife attempted to gain custody and visitation with our daughter.

here is one for the record books....... My husband was involved in a car accident, hit head on by a driver during a rain storm. The woman came into his side of the road not being able to see the damn road in front of her..........all said and done police come, she refused medical, he did not, she had no car insurance.........a few months later we get this letter from her lawyer saying she is suing my husband for damages that keeps her from working.......after 6 months of total bs with our insurance company we hired our own lawyer and the day in court comes around and the dumb woman never shows up......her lawyer did but she did not so the case was thrown out of court. What amazes me is that my husband and I play by the rules have all necessary insurance, tags etc......and this bitch with nothing has the balls to try sue us! Gotta love the system! :o)

A credit card company sued my fiance while we were in Iraq. Obviously they won their case and got the award because he didnt show up...ummm..i did mention him being in iraq right? well i got POA for my fiance since im home and hes not. US Service members who are deployed cannot be sued, they are protected under Service Members Civil Relief Act, so i called the lawyer and told him what an ass he was, they removed the ruling, got rid of all court and attorney fee's and i picked out a payment plan to pay off JUST the back debt with no fee's or chargers, all becasue they didnt do their job correctly

no, but my family was sued. we own 8 apartment complex's and 3 retirement homes, and one day a boy and his dad was out playing football and the little boy went to grab for the ball and hit his arm on the fence surrounding the pool and it broke. so therefore we got sued for a pure accident and his stupidity. i dont think it went thru, but they sure tried.
