Ellen Degeneres. Though she has oversaturated the tv waves, she has always supported gay teens and always offered some form of education on gay issues.

I don't know anyone personally, Freddy, so I would just have to generalize here...someone who is honest, honorable, kind, helpful and is seriously trying to search, investigate and find out how to live his "best" life. :)

Harvey Fierstein: Multi-talented...writer, actor, director... Has always been true to himself and never played it "safe". He is a legitimate voice of gay pride. Everyone has heard of his play/movie "Torch Song Trilogy"... Rent "On Tidy Endings". You will cry.

Parents should be a good role model for their kids,gay or not.
