'cos if you can't beat a bully by yourself, you may be able to if you have a few helpers. And if it just so happens that the bully wronged a few other people then Bingo! - there's your helpers. Of course, then the bullies gang up so the victims also build bigger gangs and before you know it you've got governments and all sorts of stuff.
