If someone is about to get attacked by a bear and shoot it then fair enough, but they kill because they need to eat. I wouldn't kill my butcher because he kills cows

no its not fair we are the ones who invade thier teritory so that makes it our gamble.

I agree. Don't act surprised when you go into shark infested waters, and get bitten.

Well, *sometimes* there's the odd animal that just likes attacking humans. They're soft, don't run very fast, and they carry even more food with them. While I feel bad for that animal- most often a bear- because it wasn't its fault that some human fed it too close or whatever, i do understand the safety reason for killing it, that it might go after campers who weren't planning on bothering the bears. But, like, when someone jumps into a zoo enclosure and starts poking it with a stick, or gets between mom and her cubs, or goes swimming at dusk- no, you went out and said "hey, eat me." And the animal shouldn't be blamed for that.
