I live in the boondocks and we don't have public transportation so I would say NO

They're spending billions to put in a new light rail system here. Much of the new line will be following the old trolley tracks that they tore out forty years ago.

There have been repeated fare hikes in the past 2-3 years. Also some routes have been discontinued. Also some transit services have reduced the service frequencies. The reason given is lack of money.
