Does it really matter? Obama will (should) stand or fall based on what he says, not what somebody else says...unless he specifically adopts the position of another. So far, he hasn't. As for Wright, isn't there something called "free speech"? I thought he would be allowed to say whatever he wants. Nobody has to listen.

i say it doesn't matter....Obama got 23 yrs. of guidance from this 'black liberation theology' church...vindication is well in place....

In my opinion, MOST religious leaders should stay out of political affairs, at least the ones who don't have anything to bring to the table but hate and bigotry, like Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell (when he was still alive) and Jeremiah Wright. If you are Mother Theresa or someone else like that, than by all means, participate, but if you are in it for the attention or to spread your bigotry, stay out.
