  • Description: A lad lifted a heavy thing at work and hurt himself. Suspect groin strain so sent home. Went to bed that night in pain, awoke coughing blood with his left arm grey and tissue dead. Was rushed to hospital. Surgeons had a look inside, and could do nothing. Blood pressure was zero, and internal bleeding was said to be the problem The lad died. What's going on to cause this chain of events?
  • An autopsy would tell. Just theorising here: To me rupture of a blood vessel or organ sounds plausible here. It may have been an unusually weak spot by birth that couldn't take the physical stress. The dead arm could be a direct result of the interrupted blood circulation.
