Well, it DOES make a difference to the point where you could buy things you like and go places you enjoy. It give freedom...but it's not the answer to everything.

Perhaps because they don't have "more" money. If they did, they'd find out it cannot buy happiness, love or character. You can just buy more things (and even get into more debt!).

When you buy something and it makes you happy, you are naturally going to think that having money to buy everything you want will make you even happier.

Probably because they do not have a lot of money. Let's make it more relative: Have you ever bought something you thought would make you happy and the "high" of getting it wore off, not because it put you into debt, but it did not feel a void in your life? I know many people that are considered "poor" and they are the happiest people in the world. Now, I want you to think of "rich" people that, although they have money, they appear unhappy due to their actions and words. I can think of a few off the top of my head, but will not share unless asked to.

Well in a world that is completly run by money the only way you can stay ahead of the game and happy is if you have a fair amount of it on your person.
