Has anyone else noticed a general downtrend in the quality of questions over the last few months? I'm about ready to call it quits.

I find there are up days and down days with AB, but I'd have to agree there's been a general decline in the quality of questions. There used to be thoughtful questions that sparked debate or solicited different perspectives. Now you get questions like "What was that sound?" (Though we will forever have the "Am I pregnant questions to distract us.) I think some good users have left this site or taken a hiatus and I've noticed an influx of younger users. I don't know that this has affected the quality of questions or not.

Meh, it goes up and down. Sometimes people ask some pretty thought provoking stuff and other days the questions seem kind of pointless.

Yes my wife and I have noticed it reason why my wife left the site but also due to quite rude answers. She was also laughed at and corrected quite rudely because of her Parkinson and thus typos. Another subject is that foul language has become too common which was not an issue before. Never give up because of these matters, post your own questions and try for them to be excellent, don't ever allow the other subjects to get to you. Best regards.

I have to agree about the decline of the quality of questions. Sometimes I spend a long time searching for at least half way decent questions that interest me.
