  • The way people don't even YIELD for aa YIELD sign would just be keeping the auto body shops even busier. Sometimes it is very important to make a full stop. I agree some Stop signs are ridiculous but you gotta obey the law.
  • I do that now anyway.
  • Just curious. How would a "Four Way Yield" intersection work?
  • No. Jesus Christ- that would be a disaster. People rarely 'yield' as it is. There are definite cases where stop signs are very necessary.
  • is that an american sign?
  • How is that different than now? Yield is now spelled S T O P and the yield sign has become invisable. The only one who ever sees it is the Officer when he/she writes out the ticket when you're in an accident.
  • i thought that the ones with the white line around the edge of the stop sign was optional anyways. lol :)
  • No, because I'm not an idiot.
  • How about we turn every intersection into a "traffic circle" I hate those damn things, I want to find the person that invented them and beat them.
  • It would have to depend on visibility. Yield means "look both ways" Stop means stop. There's plenty of stop signs that *could* be yield signs, because there's plenty of visibility to all sides. There's also plenty of stop signs that need to stay stop signs, because you *can't* see. And, there's an intersection by my parents house that i learned in driver's ed *was* a stop-- Coming to a T intersection from the cross street. My mom never stops, my father would scold me for stopping there because i was going to get rear ended (like hell i was, country road)-- but No Way was I going to go without looking, there was no visibility on either side until you got right up to the road!
