  • A hot water bottle. Also, you may want to go to an herbalist. I'm studying Chinese medicine, and there is an herb called Dong Quai which is good at regulating the menstrual cycle and evening it out. This could help minimize your cramps.
  • a friend of mine uses a heating pad. you could get then at a local drug store.

  • You could try regular excersize, especialy in the days before your cycle. Also a chiropractor might be able to help you. The last thing is birth control, it can be used to regulate your cycle or completely stop it. Talk to your doctor and research your options. Good luck!
  • I find that preventing cramps is the way to go. Caffeine is the trigger for me. So I just cut out pop, coffee, and chocolate for a week. Tylenol helps me too. I make sure to keep taking it every four hours when I'm sure I'm going to have cramps. Also, I've been told that fish oil helps and that calcium (in dairy products) makes cramps worse. I don't personally cut out dairy though.
