I would go for a nice pants or skirt suit with a blouse or simple sweater. Any colour is ok except red, black or really bright ones like orange or canary yellow. Pastel colours would be good, like a nice mint green or, if you like dark colours, navy blue. A bit of a heel (not too high, but not too low either). Just my opinion, of course.

She can probably wear ordinary clothes if she wants.
