The only reason the question is so...confusing is because of the question length restriction. It is entirely possible to understand this question. And I am actually interested in the answers because I am in that same boat. An ex left me for her ex and told me she regretted it, but that she cant get back with me because of she is now unsure of us. What's worse is that she believes she is giving me a second chance, when it is actually I that would be giving the second chance if she ever came back. If you can be her friend then do it, but I wouldn't be unless you were sure the two of you would eventually be back together. And do you want that? She could leave you heart broken again. And those are the exact things running in my mind, but for me it shouldn't be hard since she probably wont want to try.
