My mother is going to London, what should she bring back for me?

My friend when last year and she broght me back a little blue glass egg that comes apart. It has a pic drawn on it in gold paint it is really pretty and i also started a new collection because of it. She also brought back a lighter that looks like a silver sports car.

Typical London souvenirs are anything in the shape of a phone box, letter box, old Routemaster buses, toy soldiers etc. Harrods also have some good souvenirs but they are more expensive than most other places.

If you're American get her to bring back tea and chocolate. The London stuff is way better than yours! If not, They have some nice unusual stalls on Greenwich market, food, clothes, jewellry, art- not strictly "Londony" but stuff you might not find anywhere else. And get her to get you a postcard of something bizarre on show at the Tate Modern- always good for a laugh!

A thong that has the London Underground on it. They're real! But I've only ever seen them in The London Shop in France... Go figure!

Loads of clothes from H&M!! Why? Because they can't be ordered online, and we don't have any stores out west. If you're not familiar, picture Gap quality at Old Navy prices. And just in case your mom asks, just say NO to marmite! (Foul, wretched food)
