he is obveously fine doing that job, but i bet it takes it out of him. tip him really well since it takes him a lot more effort lol.
-
I would contact the company and ask them what the heck they are playing at!! otherwise - is the man physically able to mow your lawn? if he is and youre happy with him then leave it alone.. the man obviously loves the job!
-
Don't feel that way; I'm physically handicapped as well and when ever I can do something productive, it makes me feel good. Treat him like anyone else; he will appreciate it and I'm sure he needs the money. Wouldn't hurt to say something like "If you would like some (tea, water etc.) just let me know." Of course, you would probably do that for most anyone. :)
-
Perhaps that's the only job he can get. If you can't abide this, either request a different worker, or get a different company. Otherwise, keep on with what you were doing before you noticed him.
-
probably loves his job...i would not do nothing

He most probably takes a lot of pride in the fact that his "handicap" does not prevent him from making his own way in the world. If you want to do something, compliment him on a job well done (as long as it was well done, of course) and maybe offer him a glass of ice water or lemonade.
-
He's proud that he can work to support himself. Do not call attention to the fact that he is different. Treat him like anyone who mows your lawn that is not disabled. You can tell him you are thankful he worked so hard, just as you would tell everyone else, etc.
-
Stop watching him..allow him to do his job with dignity. Perhaps he is very proud of this job. Perhaps he is a hero to his family! So be happy that the company you selected gives this man an opportunity to earn an honest living!:)

As long as he can complete the job in a satisfactory manner, I wouldn't do anything. If you are uncomfortable watching him mow 2 acres .. go watch tv instead .. since 2 acres is a large yard, offer the guy a bevie there is a worse alternative .. hire a teenager who has very little experience and no motivation

I have a friend who is like that- he LOVES to work outdoors and he does it all the time. Don't feel bad about it- he wouldn't do something if he didn't want to do it after all; plus, he is a normal person (he's just not exactly like you or I); he has feelings, thoughts, and obviously works :) Its no big deal- if your not used to it, then I would suggest getting used to it >< it happens all the time all over the world, and its no biggie!
