  • oh yes yes yes.
  • Definitely, and vice-versa. Looks are just a sensory lure, for the most part. Everything else about a person determines whether they are REALLY beautiful or not. The typical way to approach this is realizing that physically attractive people can become "ugly" when you discover their personality is atrocious. I also like to take note of the converse of this. I knew a girl in high school who was not someone I would consider attractive at first sight, in fact she was rather homely on the surface. However, she was in a lot of my classes, and we became very good friends. She was such a nice, fun, and generous person, that over the years, she became one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen, so much so as to transform my perception of how she looked on the surface.
  • Absolutely!
  • Yes, but only someone with true depth is capable of seeing others in such a light. My grandmother used to say, "Pretty is as pretty does", And I so believe that to be true. Conversely, I have also met people that I thought were not attractive in the beginning, and as I grew to know their true spirit, I found them to be beautiful outside as well.
  • Have you ever looked at someone after living/knowing them for some time, and wonder "What did I ever see in him/her?" This is a perfect example of someone whose looks you were really attracted to originally then things changed considerably when you saw them for what they really were.
  • You can sure change your opinion of his/her looks by finding an ugly personality. I don't know if that is ugly but certianly would be unappealing. Not desirable, etc.
