Is it legal to perform surgery (without any certifications) on yourself? What about performing surgery on someone else who's willing?

You are opening yourself to a world of liability, no matter if a friend, wants you to perform this procedure. its a violation of criminal law, to impersonate a physician or police officer. you could be arrested and sued, at the same time. When in doubt.......DON"T
