-
Two months. Reason: I moved back from South Africa to Scotland. And this is the amount of time it took to get my national insurance number.
-
Hmm, 18 months-ish. I really enjoyed doing nothing *sigh*
-
about 8 months, took off maternity leave!
-
Six months after being made redundant , however I couldn't work in that time anyway because I badly injured my ankle playing football. So those six months in twenty four years basically.

-
For 40 months while I was going through a serious illness.

About five years....before the "baby" started kindergarden.
-

I am unsure, seems like it's been nearly a year since I quit/retired though. :)
-
Five years, two months, 12 days, and loose change in hours and minutes... AND COUNTING! (About a year of that was rehabbing a knee, but I'd been out of work for 9 months before THAT happened. THEN, I wasn't allowed to drive and it took another year or so to get hand controls and a lift for my scooter...)
-
2 weeks. LOL, I was transitioning between jobs actually.
-
From 1993 to 1998.

I hurt my back to such a degree that I was unable to work for 6 months..I was immobilized in bed for two weeks, unable to do anything more than lift my head. I stupidly bent over straight-legged and picked up a section of lead pipe one summer day..we were cleaning out the tool shed of a home we had just purchased..I heard a "click" but there was no pain. That was on Sunday. Went to work Monday. About 10 ayem tried to get out of my chair at work and I couldn't move! Moral..don't ever bend over to pick up lead pipe without bending your legs! :(

About 10 minutes. Best vacation I ever had:) I think it was about 15 months.
-
3 days after my only car wreck...it was cool to not have to work...but i didn't get comp. for it...
-
Over a year and a half, and it sucks... :-(
-
6 months and depressing.
-
I didn't have a job for four weeks after I moved to a different city, and I hated it. I need to always be busy, and my house can only be so clean.
-
A few weeks at a time-but with really crappy jobs in between. It was the worst to work for little cash-while still having to job hunt. Ofcourse, finances suffered. I still look in the paper after four years every week-just to see how the market is doing. Just in case!

One year. Prison sucks!
