  • i would too. try to handle them as little as possible. put them in a safe secure spot. return them when its safe and a few hours before the mom usually returns. the smell of humans on animals, is a myth, and most animals will return for their young. just keep watch..you may end up having to nursemaid some wild babies. dont expect them to grow up to be pets.
  • No. if the mother comes back and finds the babies gone, it will never return again. Then you will have to buy pet milk and a feeder from a pet store and feed them yourself. Also you will have cocoa-puffs all over the floors in your house : )
  • No, leave them for the mother to take care of them. If she doesn't find them, they won't get their dinner and since they only get fed once or twice a day, they will miss their meal and you will have to feed them, in essence adopting them. It's not easy raising a litter of rabbits yourself. They could even die under your care. SO better to leave them.
  • yes,,but put gloves on so they do not get your scent on them or the mother could reject them
