Hey, since i might get a Labrador Retriever tomorrow, I've been scanning my mind for some good names. the pups i will look at might be black, chocolate or yellow. I need a name thats not simple like bob and not fancy, just a cool name. any ideas?

I have a golden lab..my son named him Tropper(I dont know why)We have a cat with a white tip on his tail and named him..Tipper.So the house is in sync.Do you have other animals? You need to make them connect somehow.Have fun for the next three years with your very busy and difficult puppy!!The males mature at 3 the girls at 2.I love our dog but man he was alot of work. We had a Rottwieler and he just came to us at 6 months old toilet trained and a genius!So it was hard for us.We live in the country and our dog runs top speed twice a day in unlimited space. Get ready!

What are your initals? Would THEY make a good name? One of our dogs is named KC - my wife's maiden name initials reversed. I also had a dog named BJ - My first initial and my ex-wife's first initial. AND, it was also just after we saw the MASH episode where Hawkeye's trying to find BJ's name. The kids called her "Boojie". One of our pups was furry, like a furby. I named her Kirby (the Furby). Wait to name it until you know it's personality a little better. My mom had a dog named "Shy", and my parents have one NOW originally named "Blackie" (obvious why, huh?) and now named "Peku" (it's a Peekapoo). Use the name of a favorite TV character, a town you like... Whatever. There are MILLIONS of ways to name a pet. Write down a bunch of names you get from the above, and pick one. ;-)
