I will go into Barnes and Noble and hang out in the war history section for this specific reason.
It's happened.
I have embarressed myself more than once doing this. I find myself trying to commit their image to memory, and I get so wrapped up in the effort that I don't notice that others have noticed my focused attention. When it is the subject who notices and is bothered by it, I feel awful. They probably think I am a stalker or psychotic of some sort! I am too embarressed to chase after them and explain that I am simply an artist who found them facinating. That always comes out sounding like I am a psychotic of some sort!!
I've recently started portrait drawing but haven't been around many people, but I imagine that when I get out I will notice. I hope I don't stare. Yes, we are studying parts of the face most intently. Eyes are captivating to me.
I love checking out their ears! Some women's ears are sooooo perfect. Others are not. Same goes for their noses, mouths, eyes, etc. But something about ears turns me on.
