  • Parents need to be involved in the life of their children, kids aren't small adults they are kids and need to be treated as such, with discipline and instruction and love and encouragement. I think if parents would be a larger part of the childs life and be their PARENT and not their friends we might see society start to change.
  • I don't know... you might try putting up plaques in the schools that say, "Thou Shalt Not Kill." It also might help to stop teaching kids that morality is relative, that this life is all there is, and that they're nothing but a temporary collection of cells, a cosmic accident, with no more worth, dignity, or purpose than pond scum. Be that as it may, the fact is that school violence has actually been going down steadily for the last 30 years. It's just that now it's happening in white-bread suburbia instead of just the inner city and rust belt mill and mining towns.
  • Oh yeah! You could also put an end to No-Fault Divorce and forbid all married women with kids to hold a fulltime job. This would go along way towards making sure kids had a more stable homelife, with a fulltime mom and dad - and with so many women out of the workplace, working dads could actually bring home enough money so the moms didn't have to work, greatly reducing the principle causes of divorce: fatigue, resentment, confused gender roles, and financial stress.
  • Parents should effing pay attention to their d@mn children
